Keeping it Budget-Friendly
Quick note on prices and recreations. Taylor is a very wealthy woman, and as such, she wears clothes of a certain price point. Now I’m not going to sit here and suggest you start buying $2k T-shirts and $20k custom Versace bodysuits just because Taylor Swift does.
There are a lot of articles online that will tell you exactly what brand and clothes Taylor Swift wears. I don’t want to clutter the internet with more of that. This is about how the regular person like me and you can recreate these iconic looks cheaply and without breaking the bank.
How to dress like the Red album?
We can’t talk about Red era outfits without mentioning the cover outfit.
The whole vibe of this is giving cosy, comfy and warm. And when I say warm I don’t just mean a lovely scarf and coat, I mean warm colours - burnt orange, beige, reds.
So let’s start with an actual recreation of that Red album outfit Taylor Swift is rocking;
Oh and remember that puzzle pack I mentioned? Here it is in full glory ready to download.
Taylor Swifts Red Eras Tour Outfit
Taylor Swift Red Tour Outfits
Before the Eras tour, we had the Red tour. So we can’t talk about the Red era outfits AND tour performance outfits without mentioning the iconic performance looks that came right in the middle of Taylors Red Era. Like this ringmaster type costume.

Taylor Swifts Red Music Video Outfits
We also must pay homage to the music videos from Taylor’s Red era and the iconic looks that they birthed. Such as what’s probably considered the ultimate red era outfit…
Taylor Swift 22 Outfit
The most popular Red era outfit has to be the classic 22 - Fedora, red shades, black shorts look. It’s iconic. Go to the Eras tour and watch how many of these outfits you see. It screams “Reds my favorite era”. So here’s how to create it properly.
Is it too soon to mention that puzzle pack again? Because currently we have it at a huge discount and you’re first puzzle is to find out what the price means…
The Never Getting Back Together Pyjamas
The Pyjamas - Shop USA, Shop UK
This is one of those looks that personally I think would be great to see someone wear at the Eras tour. It’s niche, but so so good. So many Midnights, Vigilante Sh*t, and Fearless tassel dresses which don’t get me wrong, look insanely good. But how good would it be to see someone wearing this on the stadium floor.
Not to mention if you are going to host an album listening party. Then this screams Tay tay and comfort at the exact same time.
It would just be brilliant. Technically this look I’ve found isn’t an exact match. The original pyjamas are squirrels, whereas the ones I’ve found are cats. Which is odd, because I’m sure you’d agree, cats are way more Swiftie then squirrels. But hey-ho, it is what it is!
I also included this look in the 33 top Taylor Swift gifts chosen by swifties article.
Taylor Swift General Red Eras Outfits
Now for some neither here nor there looks from Taylors Red era that HAVE to be included.
Back in the midst of the Taylor Swift Red era, we got this cute little look. The story is that Taylor Swift was riding a bike around Place de Furstenberg at St Germain des Pres while shooting a music video for the song “Begin Again,”.
This was 2012. Taylor Swift was 22 at the time, the look is absolutely iconic. And for good reason, it’s super cute! She looks an an absolute sweetheart.
It’s also a look that no ones recreating. If you’re going to the eras tour prepare yourself for a million fedoras and red sequins for people recreating the red era. If you’re wanting something original, that you can also get your use out of and wear time and time again without it seeming costume, go for this look.
All you really need is a nice floral skirt and a cute blouse. Slap on some red lippy and sunglasses and you’re good to go.

Understanding Taylor's Red Era Aesthetic
Embrace the Vintage and Classic Vibes
The Red era is all about capturing the essence of a bygone era. Think vintage, think classic. Channel your inner Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe with timeless pieces that exude sophistication and charm.
Incorporate Elements of Romance and Nostalgia
Whether it's through lace detailing, floral patterns, or soft fabrics, infuse your wardrobe with elements that scream romance. The Red era is all about capturing those heart-fluttering moments, and your outfit should reflect that.
Notable Color Palette: Reds, Neutrals, and Vintage-Inspired Patterns
Red is, of course, the star of the show. But don't shy away from neutrals like beige, cream, and black. Mix in vintage-inspired patterns like polka dots or florals to add that extra touch of nostalgia.
Hairstyles and Makeup
Classic Curls and Soft Waves
Taylor's hair during the Red era was a work of art. Embrace those classic curls and soft waves to achieve that timeless look. Pro tip: A vintage-inspired hair accessory can take your hairstyle to the next level.
Red Lipstick and Neutral Eyeshadow
Red lips were Taylor's signature during this era. Find that perfect shade that makes you feel unstoppable. Pair it with neutral eyeshadow for a polished yet understated look.
Embrace a Timeless and Polished Look
The key here is to keep things polished and refined. Think of yourself as a modern-day Audrey Hepburn – classic, elegant, and always put together.
